Comics On Duty: We Love You Mrs. Bevins has been selected as a featured documentary at the Declaration of Independent Film Festival in London, to be screened the first week of June.
This is a soldiers story told by comedians, from their faces to ours, from Iraq to home.
This film was directed by John Bizarre and Danny Bevins. They have combed through over one hundred hours of footage and commentary to unite the unreachable with the accessible, the danger with the safety and the lost spirit with its destination of a warm and safe place.
Comics On Duty: We Love You, Mrs. Bevins is not a political statement, but rather a visual rendition of the human need to be remembered and the faces that show us why.
Comics On Duty: We Love You Mrs. Bevins is due for release September 2007

The real debate in this country should be, “What is torture?” Once we decide what torture is then we can move on to, “Who should be tortured?” I wouldn’t be opposed to preemptive torture if everyone’s ass was up for grabs. Imagine torturing politicians to find out what the newest piece of corruption is or who the newest Jack Abramoff? I don’t know that I would be upset if I find out that Saxby Chambliss spent the last night being waterboarded. Am I wrong?

By popular request, I have had the layout of the site flipped around to make the updates on the site a little more easily accessible to anyone who cares enough to read.
My delightful webmistress and helluva friend, Patricia, over at Canisapien Solutions hooked this up for me, and is in the process of teaching me how to use it. So if the layout gets funky, or if I completely fuck something up, be patient with me while I learn the lay of the land!
Catch me in New York this week at Gotham Comedy Club !
